Credential Requests / Guidelines

Credential requests must be made by sports editors or sports directors no later than WEDNESDAY evenings prior to FOOTBALL and BASKETBALL events. All requests should be directed to the Director of Athletic Communications (rgoff@lclark.edu / 503.768.7067)

Credentials may be picked on gameday at Will Call at (football) at the top of Griswold Stadium; or at (basketball) the Pamplin Sports Center, located inside the main entrance. Please note that we are unable to provide parking. All persons picking up credentials will be required to furnish positive identification.

Visiting photographers (FOOTBALL) are limited to the visiting team sidelines. End zone and home sideline photography is prohibited. Team videography will be placed on the roof top deck of the Griswold Pressbox. Filming (video) from the sideline is strictly prohibited.

Visiting photographers (BASKETBALL) must stay outside the black baselines and are not allowed on the court until after the game. Team videography will be placed in the top bleacher section behind the benches.

Due to limited space and to ensure compliance with NCAA guidelines, credentials will not be issued to "free-lance" writers or photographers without a specific assignment received by the assigning organization.

College personnel may deny or revoke credentials without notice and an individual shall surrender his/her credential upon request for: noncompliance with the priorities or guidelines set out in this policy; noncompliance with health, safety, or security directives issued regarding College athletic events; violations of College, Department of Intercollegiate Athletics, NCAA, or NWC policies; and for conduct for which there are reasonable grounds to believe violate state or federal law, or constitute a breach of professional ethics.

Radio and television stations wishing to broadcast athletic events from Lewis & Clark should contact the Athletic Communications Office at least one week in advance. For football games, visiting media will be placed on the roof top deck of the Griswold Pressbox. During basketball contests, visiting media will be placed by the visiting team bench. Ethernet and phone lines are available at both venues.
